“They offer a very professional and quick service, with good knowledge of the NL tax system and proper advice to the customer. Also, they are English speakers, in case you are a non-Dutch speaker. Recommended without hesitation.”

George

“Incredibly helpful! I was struggling to find someone reliable to help me with my complex tax situation, but Alex handled it with ease and was an absolute pleasure to work with. If you’re unsure about your own tax situation, or need any help or advice, I highly recommend NEOR.”

‘Guldenmw’

“Quick free consultation over the phone in English was exceptional.
Extremely fast and professional answer in the clearest way possible to my questions.
Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the name of the advisor. Otherwise, I would give him the credit he deserves!
Highly recommended!”

For working in the Netherlands, you need to get an identification number so that for example the Dutch tax authorities know who you are. For residents, there is the BSN number or “Burgerservicenummer”. But for non-residents, you can also apply for an RNI number or “Registratie niet-ingezetenen”. What number you need depends on your situation. In general you can say that if you intend to stay in the Netherlands for less than 4 months, you should obtain an RNI number. But if you stay longer, you need a BSN number.

An employee who qualifies as a highly skilled migrant will in most case be eligible for the 30% ruling.
